Wil Davies

Wil is an experienced self-shooting PD and has worked on dozens of short and long form documentaries in some of the most remote regions on earth. He has directed three episodes of Unreported World and a Dispatches for Channel 4. He regularly shoots films for Channel 4 News and ITV News and last year he shot an episode of Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons for Emporium Productions/Netflix. He has also made films for the BBC, including a special on Snow Leopards for Newsnight. 

Flora Bagenal is an award winning Producer/Director and journalist who has worked on a wide variety of films across the world. She has lived in China, Washington, London, Nairobi and Bangkok, and made films for Netflix, Channel 4 and Vice in recent years. 

Rory is a compelling, creative, visual and verbal film maker with the ability to uncover the real story. He has more than a decade of on-air experience in international and national TV news. Formerly the Russia correspondent for Al Jazeera, he has covered numerous stories across the former Soviet Union. Now based in the UK, he reports for ITV news and Al Jazeera.  

During his time in Russia, he reported on terror attacks, political unrest, human rights crackdowns, plane crashes, Putin’s elections, the Sochi Winter Olympic games, the 2018 football World Cup, great power diplomacy, and a huge range of other stories that reveal what makes such a fascinating and vast region tick.
